Saint Peter's Church lies at the center of Leuven, on the Grand Place, close to the Town Hall.

Saint Michael's Church was built between 1650 and 1671 for the Jesuit College of Leuven by Jesuit architect Willem Hesius. The impressive facade of the church, known as the 'altar outside the church', was renovated in 2010 and looks quite splendid now.
